PLACES TO SEE

1. King Centre
It was established in 1968 by Coretta Scott King in order to serve as a "global destination, resource centre and community institution" to hundreds of thousands of people all over the world who are inspired by Dr. King's legacy. It features the crypt of Dr. King and Mrs. King and an archive of all of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s works.

2. Atlanta History Centre
I will be seeing the "Success & Segregation: Black Leadership under Jim Crow" exhibition. This exhibition examines the lives of African-Americans who formed community characterised by leadership and bravery in order to overcome severe obstacles like slavery, prejudice, and Jim Crow laws. Success & Segregation "chronicles the success and influence of the leaders who assumed responsibility for organizing the classes and, in effect, advancing the quality of life for the African-American community".
